31 Days of Halloween – Day 9
Hallowtober Day #9
It just wouldn’t be fall without hot apple cider. Nothing beats it on a cool crisp day. Bonus if you throw a cinnamon stick in it… the cinnamon mingles with the apple so nicely. Wrap your mitts around this tasty beverage and take in the warmth while taking in some of the sights of autumn.

31 Days of Halloween – Day 8
Hallowtober Day #8
The full moon is upon us tonight, my pretties. It’s the second (and final) lunar eclipse and blood moon of the year. The moon has some pretty powerful energy (particularly this one!) and it’s a great time to think of the things in your life that are no longer serving a purpose. This could be bad habits, negative people, procrastination (guilty as charged!!), anything that you’d like to let go of in your life. There’s many ways to honor this full moon energy, but one of the things I love to do is to write down what I want to let go of in this moon cycle on a small piece of paper and burn it in my little cauldron. Watch as your complications turn to ash and are carried away into the night air by the purifying white smoke. Then set a new and positive intention that you would like to bring to fruition in this moon cycle.

31 Days of Halloween – Day 7
Howl at the moon! Who cares what the neighbors say… get outside, tilt your head back and howl away!! You’ll b amazed at how good it will make you feel to just let your hair down and do something totally weird! Pick a night when the moon is fully visible (like tonight’s should be) and bask in its glow while taking in that cool autumn wood fire scented air. Ahhhhhh…

- The Crow (the Brandon Lee one of course!)
- Bram Stoker’s Dracula
- Interview with the Vampire – (LOL! I couldn’t resist this photo, it’s so true…)
- The Craft
- The Harry Potter films
- The Lord of the Rings trilogy
- The Hobbit (soon to be trilogy!! Can’t wait for #3 to come out this December!!!)
- The Underworld movies (I mean how can you go wrong with vampires AND werewolves AND hybrids, oh my!)
- Shadow of a Vampire
- Coraline
- Nightmare Before Christmas
- Frankenweenie
Now go light some candles, pop some popcorn, open a nice bottle of red (or insert favorite fall drink here) get snuggly on the couch and have a spooktacular movie night!

31 Days of Halloween – Day 5
Hallowtober Day #5
Decorate your house to your Halloween liking. No surprise here, my house is decorated with a lot of whimsical, old timey Halloween decorations. Add in some orange, purple, or themed twinkle lights, like pumpkins or skeletons to really bring your place to death.. I mean, life!
