Hello! I’m Jen. Thanks for stopping by my magical little corner of the (cob)web!
I’m an illustrator with a flair for colorful whimsy, and I’m also an author/illustrator of children’s books and currently working on completing the artwork for my debut picture book, Planet Harmonium. I’m also preparing to unveil a fabulous new art concept that I’ll be very excited to share with you as it progresses. What a wondrous thing the imaginative mind can be!
My roots are of the North (Minnesota to be exact) and I have always been drawn to the mystical lore of the land. It truly sparked my imagination as a kid… roaming the forests picturing fairies atop butterflies, ghosts playing in the crisp autumn winds rustling the brightly colored leaves as they’d wisp by unseen, and connecting with the spirits of the trees. It’s no wonder that through my art I found the best way of expressing myself. And lucky for me, my imagination has never grown up!
When not imagining I can most likely be found deep in the blissful dance of my yoga practice, sipping a delectable latte on Main St in Santa Monica (aka my hood!), daydreaming of Halloween and the magic that surrounds autumn, or letting it all go and rocking it out at a metal concert. I like to find excitement and joy in the littlest of things every day, and to find unique ways of bring happiness not only myself but to all around me.
