31 Days of Halloween – Day 29

Hallowtober Day #29

Explore some new music that honors this time of year.  Wardruna is a musical project based on Nordic spiritualism and the runes of the Elder Futhark. Their music is beautifully stunning, and so powerful.  If you’re like me and have roots stemming from the North, this music can be particular moving, but it’s really for everyone.  I love how they integrate the runes into their music.  We all have our own divination tools, and because of my heritage I feel closest and most grounded by the runes and their guidance.  Also, try listening to some Pagan folk music.  My favorite in this genre is Faun… the songs Unda and Gaia make me, and my heart, dance!

  1. Wonderful website. My students and I really have enjoyed looking at it. The format is so creatively done and perfectly in tune with the fall and Halloween season. You are a true artist Jen and have the gift of being able to realize just how much art and art appreciation is. Thank you — I am proud of you.
